Not for my glory, but for the glory of The Lord

La’Donna was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She began singing in the Pentecostal church at the age of 9. She would frequently perform for her grandfather, Reverend William Jackson as a young girl. Much to the delight of her grandfather and his peers, she would sing "Amazing Grace" reminiscent of the great Aretha Franklin. As well as songs by the great Mahalia Jackson.

La'Donna would eventually work as a session vocalist. In addition, she has performed background vocals for many notable R&B, Jazz musicians, artist and record labels in the New York City area.

La’Donna finally acknowledged that her vocal gifts are to be used to glorify GOD. She will be releasing her new single “At The Altar” in the Fall of 2020. In addition to singing Gospel La’Donna is an Evangelist and a Licensed Chaplain. She is also an aspiring Christian author.
